Job summary

Medical City North Hills, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Clinical Dietitian PRN to coordinate patient nutritional care under the supervision of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services. The role integrates with a Nutrition Support Team alongside pharmacists and physicians to deliver high-quality patient care.

You will perform nutritional screenings, educate patients on therapeutic diets, and document responses to nutritional support, ensuring safe and appropriate care within a hospital

Qualifications

• Commission Dietetic Registration
• Licensed Dietician must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

• Be a member of Nutrition Support Team with the pharmacist and physician(s).
• Provide nutritional screenings and assessments of patients.
• Educate the patient on therapeutic diets.
• Inform Aide staff in deciding which patient foods are allowed and disallowed based on the prescribed diet.
• Document the patient’s tolerance, appropriateness, response to nutritional support and make recommendations.
