HCA Healthcare invites you to join Ogden Regional Medical Center as a Dietitian PRN. You will lead nutrition assessments, develop plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient care.

As part of our team, you will evaluate nutrition needs, monitor therapy impacts, and educate patients across ages while coordinating with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality outcomes. This PRN role is based in Ogden, UT within a large health system with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RD/RDN) in good standing.
• State licensure must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Food Handling/Safety or Food Protection Manager certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patient nutrition needs according to physician diagnosis and develop nutrition plans.
• Screen newly admitted patients to identify those at nutritional risk.
• Develop orientation and continuing education for patients of all ages.
• Serve as a member of the Dietary Services team and provide nutritional education to staff.
• Monitor for food and drug interactions and provide nutrition-drug information to physicians.
• Assess patients for malnutrition related to abuse or neglect.
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure care needs are met.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Dietitian at ourfacility,you will have the opportunity to be both a nutrition professional and a caregiver, leading a hard-working and compassionate team that is so vital for the day-to-day functions of our hospital. In this role:

• You willbe responsible forevaluating and assessing thepatientnutrition needs according to physician diagnosis, developing nutrition plans and goals and periodic assessment of the effects of nutrition therapy.

• You will function as a member of the multi-disciplinary health care team to screen newly admitted patients toidentifythose at nutritional risk.

• You will develop orientation, continuing education, knowledge, andskills asappropriate forpatients of all ages.

• You will serve as an active member of the Dietary Services team,participatingin daily rounds and providing nutritional education for fellow staff.

• You willmonitor forfood and drug interactions and provide nutrition-drug interrelationship information to physicians.

• You will assess patients for malnutrition related to abuse or neglect.

• You will communicate with patients and families, medical staff, nursing staff, and other health care professionals toassurepatient care needs are met.

What qualifications you will need:
