Job summary

HCA Florida Kendall Hospital in Miami is seeking a Clinical Dietitian PRN to join our Nutrition Services team. You will assess patient nutrition needs, develop care plans, and provide nutrition counseling across neonate to geriatric populations.

You will also contribute to meal planning, documentation, and collaboration with the health care team to deliver high quality nutrition care. A LICENSED Dietitian with CDR registration is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Dietitian required.
• Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Bachelor's Degree in nutrition or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional needs of patients; develop and implement nutritional care plans.
• Provide nutrition counseling to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and families.
• Participate in supervision of Nutrition Services Personnel and daily operations.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the supervision of the Clinical Nutrition Manager provides total nutritional care as a member of the health care team. The Clinical Dietitian assesses nutritional needs of patients; develops and implements nutritional care plans; communicates information pertinent to the nutritional care of the patient through written records systems. Provides high quality care to patients. Develops and maintains regular and therapeutic meals/menus. Provides nutrition counseling to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and families and/or significant other. Participates in the supervision of the Nutrition Services Personnel. The Clinical Dietitian strives daily to fulfill the objectives of the Food and Nutrition Services.
