Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish is seeking a PRN Clinical Dietitian to provide nutrition screening, assessment and education to patients in line with medical staff orders. You will work within an interdisciplinary care team to implement diet orders and support patient nutrition goals.

Minimum requirements include ADA Registered Dietitian registration and a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics, with about one year of clinical experience preferred. CDCES or CNSC knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• ADA Registered Dietitian licensure or registration required.
• Bachelor’s degree (4-year accredited program) in Nutrition/Dietetics or related field.
• 1 year of clinical healthcare experience preferred.
• CDCES and CNSC may be beneficial; strong customer service skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen, assess and educate patients to meet nutritional needs as dictated by diet orders.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides nutrition screening, assessment and education to patients to meet their nutritional needs as indicated by diet orders prescribed by medical staff. All services provided within the scope of practice for Registered Dietitians as defined by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Works in an interdisciplinary team fashion with other patient care providers.

Position Requirements

• A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Maintains current registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (ADA Registered Dietitian or Commission on Dietetic Registration)
• B. Education: Minimum completion of Bachelor’s Degree (four year accredited program) in Nutrition/Dietetics or related field.
• C. Experience: 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare facility preferred.
• D. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: CDCES and CNSC may be beneficial. Strong customer service skills preferred.
