Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish is seeking a Clinical Dietitian Lead in Englewood, CO. You will deliver nutrition screening, assessment and education per physician orders, working within an interdisciplinary team to meet patients’ nutritional needs.

The role includes supervising clinical staff and driving professional development, while establishing policies to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Maintains current ADA registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or eligible.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or related field completed.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• CDE or CNSD considered a plus; strong customer service skills.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Provides nutrition screening, assessment and education to patients to meet their nutritional needs as indicated by diet orders prescribed by medical staff. All services provided within the scope of practice for Registered Dietitians as defined by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Works in an interdisciplinary team fashion with other patient care providers. Supervises the clinical staff/responsible for professional development within the clinical team. Establishes policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.

Position Requirements

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Maintains current registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. (ADA Registered Dietitian or Commission on Dietetic Registration).
• Education: Minimum completion of Bachelor’s Degree (four year accredited program) in Nutrition/Dietetics or related field.
• Experience: One to two years clinical experience in a healthcare facility preferred.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: CDE or CNSD preferred. Strong customer service skills preferred.
