Cone Health Medical Group is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide individualized medical nutrition therapy and to support clinical nutrition programs. The role involves patient assessments, progress tracking, and contributing to better health outcomes within Cone Health.
The RD will document using the Nutrition Care Process, utilize focused nutrition exams, and participate in nutrition education and quality improvement initiatives in a supervised setting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition or related field required.
- 0–1 years in clinical nutrition experience preferred.
- Licensure/Certification as RD and NC licensure required or pending.
Responsabilités
- Completes nutritional assessments and documents results using the Nutrition Care Process.
- Uses the Nutrition Focused Physical Exam to identify malnutrition or deficiencies.
- Initiates and manages nutrition support via order-writing privileges.
- Serves as a nutrition resource to staff and precepts dietetic interns.
- Assesses knowledge and goals for self-development and professional growth.
- Participates in quality improvement activities within the clinical nutrition team.
- Completes annual requirements for Registered Dietitian.
