Qualifications

• Licensure as a Dietitian.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hospital mission by orienting care staff to nutritional aspects.
• Conduct Nutrition Assessments and chart per policy.
• Recommend diet changes and supplementation as needed.
• Attend and participate in treatment team meetings related to client care.
• Provide nutrition groups to clients weekly.
• Help develop and meet nutrition-related goals.
• Review and approve menus at Hawthorn.
• Provide overview of dietary protocols to staff.
• Assist in developing policies compliant with TJC standards.
• Collaborate with Kitchen Food Service Manager to meet nutritional needs.
• Prepare and present quality assurance data as needed.
