Job summary

State of Missouri’s Hawthorn Children’s Psychiatric Hospital in St. Louis is seeking a psychologist to work full time in inpatient and residential units for youths aged 6-17. You will provide therapy, evaluations, and treatment planning, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and safety.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology required.
• Missouri psychology licensure required.
• Experience with child/adolescent populations in inpatient/residential settings.
• Trauma-informed approach and evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy for child/adolescent in inpatient and residential units.
• Conduct psychodiagnostic evaluations and feedback to families and team.
• Complete therapy notes, evaluation reports, and weekly treatment reviews promptly.
• Participate in treatment planning, reviews, and discharge planning meetings.
• Engage in crisis intervention support and department meetings as needed.
• Supervise psychology interns and LPC clinicians as needed.
• Contribute to hospital committees and ongoing professional development.
