MedStar Health is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to assess patients, develop individualized nutrition plans, and educate patients and families on medical nutrition therapy. The role involves coordinating with physicians and other health professionals, monitoring outcomes, and documenting care plans in the medical record.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of healthcare experience, a bachelor's degree in dietetics or nutrition, and active licensure/registration with the Academy of Nutrition

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in dietetics or nutrition required or equivalent.
• 1-2 years experience in a healthcare setting required.
• Current state licensure/registration required; active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics required; CNSD preferred; CDR registration preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients to establish diet and nutrition plans.
• Review medical orders and develop individualized medical nutrition therapy plans.
• Provide nutrition education to patients and families.
• Coordinate with physicians and other health personnel regarding nutrition care.
• Document care plans in the medical record and monitor patient progress.
• Direct supportive staff to ensure productivity and workflow.
