MedStar Health is seeking a Clinical Dietitian in Virginia to assess patients, develop individualized medical nutrition therapy plans, and counsel patients and families on specialized dietary needs. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists and case managers to ensure optimal nutrition care within the treatment plan.

You will review medical orders, implement nutrition therapies, and monitor patient progress, adjusting plans as needed while maintaining accurate documentation in

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in dietetics/nutrition required or equivalent.
• 1-2 years experience in a healthcare setting required.
• Current state licensure/registration required and active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics required; CNSD preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English; understand and follow hospital policies.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients to establish diet and food guidelines.
• Review patient medical orders and develop individualized MNT plans.
• Provide nutrition counseling to patients and families.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses and other staff on nutrition care.
• Plan menus and educational materials to support treatment goals.
• Document nutrition care plans and patient responses in medical records.
