Job summary

Medical City Arlington is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to coordinate patient nutritional care under the supervision of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services. You will join a dedicated team delivering high-quality patient care in a full-service hospital setting.

The role includes nutrition screenings, education on therapeutic diets, and collaboration with pharmacists and physicians on the Nutrition Support Team.

Qualifications

• RD with Commission on Dietetic Registration, active credential.
• Licensed Dietician must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Bachelor's Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient nutritional care under general supervision of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services.
• Provide nutritional screenings and assessments of patients.
• Educate the patient on therapeutic diets.
• Inform Aide staff in deciding which patient foods are allowed and disallowed based on the prescribed diet.
• Document the patient’s tolerance, appropriateness, response to nutritional support and make recommendations.
