Job summary

Medical City Plano is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to coordinate patient nutritional care under the supervision of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services. You will be part of a dedicated team delivering high-quality patient care, contributing to safety and service excellence across the nutrition program.

Responsibilities include conducting dietary screenings, educating patients on therapeutic diets, and collaborating with pharmacists and physicians on the Nutrition Support Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Commission Dietetic Registration required.
• Licensed Dietician must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Be a member of the Nutrition Support Team with the pharmacist and physician(s).
• Provide nutritional screenings and assessments of patients.
• Educate patients on therapeutic diets.
• Inform Aide staff in deciding which patient foods are allowed and disallowed based on the prescribed diet.
• Document patient tolerance, appropriateness, response to nutritional support and make recommendations.
