Job summary

The Clinical Registered Dietitian at Trinity Health's Holy Cross Germantown Hospital in Germantown, MD performs nutrition assessments and medical nutrition therapy using the nutrition care process. You will work with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient care and participate in projects that improve performance and outcomes.

Responsibilities include delivering individualized nutrition care, educating patients and staff, and upholding the mission of Trinity Health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Maryland licensure as Dietitian/Nutritionist required.
• Active RD/RDN/RDE with CDR required.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience preferred.
• Must read/speak/write English.

Responsibilities

• Completes nutrition assessments and provides medical nutrition therapy using the nutrition care process in a timely manner.
• Delivers individualized nutrition care to patients within the scope of practice per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Serves as a member of the interdisciplinary care team and participates in Performance Improvement projects.
• Provides nutrition education for patients, families, staff and community.
• Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Health.
