Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Clinical Registered Dietitian to perform nutrition assessments and medical nutrition therapy in a hospital setting. This Full-Time, Day shift role includes a 1 rotating weekend every 5 weeks and a hybrid schedule with flexible hours.

Ideal candidates hold MD licensure in Maryland and RD/RDN status or eligibility with CDR, plus at least one year in acute care. A $10,000 new hire sign-on bonus is offered for external applicants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or verification statement from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics confirming completion of DPD requirements.
• Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist in the State of Maryland is required.
• Active status as RD/RDN or RDE with CDR is required.

Responsibilities

• Completes nutrition assessments and provides medical nutrition therapy using the nutrition care process.
• Delivers individualized nutrition care to patients within scope of practice.
• Serves as a member of the interdisciplinary care team and participates in Performance Improvement projects.
• Provides nutrition education for patients, family, staff and community.
• Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Health.
