Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Registered Dietitian to assess nutritional status and provide medical nutrition therapy across patient populations in Charlotte, NC. You will develop and monitor nutrition care plans, educate patients, and document thoroughly in EMR tools.

Requires RD licensure (or eligibility to obtain within 6 months) and a minimum bachelor’s degree in nutrition; a master’s degree is preferred for post-2024 CDR eligibility. Full-time, day shift with weekend rotation, 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with active licensure or license within 6 months of employment.
• Bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition or related field (master’s if CDR eligibility post-2024).
• Experience in clinical nutrition and ability to work with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor nutritional status and adjust care plans using current evidence.
• Provide medical nutrition therapy and counseling.
• Document nutritional care plans, assessments, and education in required tools.
• Coordinate with physicians and care team to integrate nutrition into treatment.
