Shift: Shift 1
Leads the clinical nutrition team through coaching, mentoring, research, continuing education, teaching, and professional development. Supports the team by assessing, planning, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, and educating patients. Collaborates with the department manager to resolve issues, develop goals, train staff, mentor students, and implement strategies for quality improvement. Partners with the patient care team to optimize patient care.
Minimum of 2 years experience as a clinical dietitian in an acute care setting is required.
Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Clinical Dietetics and Nutrition program is required. Completion of an ACEND-approved internship or coordinated undergraduate program is required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Knowledge of electronic medical records (Epic) and nutrition software (CBord) is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, organization, time management, multi-tasking, and analytical skills are required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work professionally and collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently.
Current Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Wisconsin State Certified Dietitian required.
