Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and a current Alabama license.
• Registry eligible dietitians may be considered with temporary Alabama license and exam within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Screens patients for nutritional risk and assesses care plans.
• Participates in care planning and family conferences.
• Provides nutrition education for patients, staff, and community groups.
• Participates in committees and performance improvement activities.
• Serves as a preceptor for students.
• Adheres to DCH Nutritional Services policies and procedures.
