Job summary

Northside Hospital seeks a Clinical Dietitian I to provide nutrition services in inpatient and/or outpatient settings. The role involves performing nutritional assessments, crafting care plans, and initiating medical nutrition therapy tailored to the patient’s plan of care.

The Dietitian collaborates with Nutritional Services, Medical Staff, Nursing, and other departments to ensure integrated care and optimal patient outcomes in a dynamic hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Nutrition or Dietetics or related program.
• Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Current licensure as a Dietitian in the State of Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Provides services in inpatient and/or outpatient setting.
• Prepares and implements nutritional assessments with care plans.
• Initiates medical nutrition therapy as part of patient plan of care.
• Acts as liaison between Nutritional Services, Medical Staff, Nursing Staff and other departments.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Food Nutrition or Dietetics

Master's degree in Food Nutrition or Dietetics

Registered Dietitian licensure (Georgia)
