Job summary

HHS is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide evidence-based nutrition care in inpatient and outpatient settings. You will perform nutritional assessments, develop interventions, and participate in rounds to support patient outcomes.

The role involves educating patients and staff, documenting in medical records, and coordinating with physicians to optimize nutritional care. You will also manage orders for therapeutic diets and supplements while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration and state licensing as required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards.
• Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments and interventions in inpatient and outpatient care.
• Educate patients, families, nursing, food service, and facility staff on nutritional needs.
• Document assessments in the medical record.
• Communicate with physicians and clinical staff on nutritional status.
• Manage physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements.
• Attend patient rounds and support regulatory-compliant nutrition policies.
