Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a Clinical Dietitian I to provide nutrition services in inpatient and/or outpatient settings in the Atlanta area and beyond.

The role requires RD licensure and a Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or dietetics, with preferred advanced degrees and clinical experience. Work hours are 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, reflecting a full-time position within the Nutritional Services team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Nutrition or Dietetics, or other nutrition related educational program.
• Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Current licensure as a Dietitian in the State.

Responsibilities

• Provide services in inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
• Prepare and implement nutritional assessments with care plans.
• Prioritize high-risk patients using multi-patient task list or MD consult/referral.
• Initiate medical nutrition therapy interventions as part of the plan of care.
• Serve as liaison between Nutritional Services, Medical Staff, Nursing Staff and other departments.
