Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a registered dietitian to formulate and document nutrition care plans for patients in the assigned clinic. You will conduct assessments, reassessments, and provide nutrition education for patients and families, coordinating resources across the health system.

The role requires a California-licensed RD with two years of healthcare experience beyond internship, and either MS with RD eligibility after 2024 or BS with eligibility before.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience as a Registered Dietitian in a healthcare/clinical setting beyond the internship.
• MS in nutrition & dietetics with RD eligibility established on or after January 1, 2024, or BS in nutrition & dietetics with RD eligibility established prior to January 1, 2024.
• Licensed Registered Dietitian in the state of California.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, document and implement nutrition care plans for patients in the assigned clinic.
• Conduct assessments, reassessments, and consults; provide nutrition education for patients and families.
• Coordinate resources across the health system and assist in evaluating services to ensure requirements are met.
