As an entry-level clinician, the Clinical Dietitian I assesses the nutritional status of patients using recognized assessment tools, and recommends & counsels patients, families, and caregivers on appropriate nutrition plans to improve disease or condition management. Works with general and complex patient populations under supervision.

Responsibilities
  1. Performs nutritional assessments using age, gender, cultural, religious, and ethnic considerations, utilizing validated tools to identify nutrition-related diagnoses and risks. Collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to facilitate care.
  2. Implements targeted nutrition interventions, provides education, and monitors patient progress, updating care plans as needed.
  3. Develops individualized nutrition intervention plans, including feeding routes and prescriptions, and evaluates patient responses.
  4. Collaborates with Food and Nutrition Services to enhance patient experience, including participating in menu reviews, tray accuracy, and staff training.
  5. Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in an accredited dietetics program (ACEND).
  • Valid registration as a Registered Dietitian with the CDR, and licensure as required by state (to be obtained within 8 weeks of hire).
Additional Information

Light work exertion, lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs frequently.

Pay Range: $24.97-$36.22/hour
