Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Department of Human Services is seeking a Clinical Dietitian at Clarks Summit State Hospital to plan and provide nutritional care, assess dietary needs, and guide nutrition plans to support recovery and patient outcomes.

You will work with a professional team to document progress, participate in treatment meetings, and maintain current nutrition knowledge through continuing education and related assignments.

Qualifications

• Active RD or RDN certification or eligibility required.
• PA residency requirement.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions.
• Medical examination after conditional offer.
• Criminal history background checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutrition assessments and document progress in medical records.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and staff education.
• Plan and evaluate regular and therapeutic menus according to physician orders.
• Assist with performance improvement activities and policy reviews.
• Provide guidance to dietetic staff for continuity of care.
• Maintain current nutrition knowledge through continuing education.
