Job summary

TouchPoint in Detroit, MI is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy in an acute care setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

You will perform comprehensive nutrition assessments, develop individual care plans, provide education to patients and staff, apply evidence-based practice, and contribute to quality improvement while pursuing ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• RDN or eligible for CDR
• Licensed Dietitian in practice state
• Healthcare experience preferred, new graduates encouraged

Responsibilities

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
• Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
• Evidence-Based Practice: Apply latest research in line with diet manual and facility protocols to ensure high-quality care
• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives to advance patient care and clinical excellence
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with food service management to achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
• Mentorship & Professional Development: Support growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training
