Job summary

Morrison Healthcare at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy in acute care, with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.

The role requires RDN or CDR eligibility, state licensure as applicable, and a commitment to evidence‑based nutrition. Part‑time/PRN shifts available with weekend and holiday coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible.
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice.
• Healthcare experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical training encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable wellness.
• Evidence-Based Practice: Apply latest research in alignment with the diet manual and facility protocols.
• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives to advance patient care.
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with the food service management team to achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
• Mentorship & Professional Development: Support growth of staff and dietetic interns.
