Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to apply medical nutrition therapy (MNT) to promote health and provide nutrition care within treatment plans.

You will develop, implement and document care plans, participate in quality and regulatory initiatives, and educate the healthcare team as a nutrition liaison.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree, current RD credential, Ohio licensure, and preferably 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field.
• CDR credential as Registered Dietitian (RD) or registry eligible with hire date within six months of date of hire.
• Current Ohio dietitian licensure required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits Mount Carmel Service Excellence standards and provides first-class service.
• Develops and documents care plans based on nutritional assessments.
• Keeps knowledge up-to-date with nutrition research and best practices.
• Provides nutrition education for the healthcare team and serves as a liaison between Nutrition Services and patient care units.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field

CDR credential as Registered Dietitian (RD) or registry eligible (must achieve RD credential within 6 months of hire)
