Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with CDR; must pass credentialing exam within 6 months if hired as eligible.
• Master’s degree completed by January 2024 or later for eligible graduates; education verified.
• ACEND accredited program completion required (DPT, internship, or graduate program).
• State licensure or certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to patients in acute care and specialized populations.
• Apply the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) to assess, diagnose, and manage nutrition needs.
• Provide advanced nutrition counseling to support behavior change and outcomes.
• Use clinical nutrition tools to develop personalized care plans.
• Support and mentor dietetic interns and staff.
• Implement evidence-based nutrition practices with interdisciplinary teams.
• Manage nutrition care across discharge planning and DME ordering.
• Write and manage nutrition-related orders within the RDN scope.
