Intermountain Health in Billings, MT seeks a Clinical Dietitian / RD/RDN for acute care, with a clear path to Clinical Dietitian Specialist. Offers mentorship, sign-on and relocation support, and hands-on nutrition experience in a supportive hospital team.

Open to experienced hospital dietitians or new grads; opportunity to work with TPN, tube feeds, and nutrition support across specialties. Full-time day shift with limited weekends.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian credential required or eligibility to attain credential within 6 months of hire.
• Master’s degree required for RD credential eligibility per recent guidance.
• ACEND-accredited program completed or equivalent.
• State licensure/certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Prior clinical dietetics experience preferred, especially in hospital settings.

Responsabilités

• Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to patients in acute care and specialized populations.
• Apply the Nutrition Care Process to assess, diagnose, and manage nutrition needs.
• Provide advanced nutrition counseling to support behavior change and outcomes.
• Use nutrition tools (indirect calorimetry, software, glucometers) to create personalized care plans.
• Mentor dietetic interns, new graduates, and clinical staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based practices.
• Support discharge planning and DME ordering within RD scope.
