Job summary

Compass Group USA in Austin, TX is seeking a part-time Clinical Dietitian to deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy in an acute care setting. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes, perform nutrition assessments, and create individualized care plans.

You will educate patients and families on nutrition, support staff with evidence-based care, and participate in quality and professional development initiatives in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
• Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education in an acute care setting
• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
• Educate patients, families, staff on nutrition and lifestyle strategies for long-term wellness
• Apply evidence-based practices in line with diet manual and facility protocols
• Support quality improvement initiatives and collaboration with the food service team
• Mentor dietetic interns and staff where applicable
