Job summary

Baptist Health, a leading nonprofit healthcare system in Florida, seeks a Registered Dietitian to assess and manage nutrition for acute care inpatients. The RD will determine therapy, place orders, and coordinate with the care team, while educating patients and families. Florida licensure is required with 6-month registration window.

Salary is around $40.50 per hour depending on shift. Minimum Bachelor’s in Nutrition; LD/N and CDR registration expected, with Master's preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or equivalent required.
• Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist and Florida licensure (LD/N) required.
• If not yet registered, must become registered/licensed within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform nutritional assessment and intervention for acute care hospitalized patients.
• Recommend medical nutrition therapy based on diagnosis and nutrition exam.
• Place orders in the medical record and communicate care plan to the team.
• Educate patients and families on the nutrition plan; document in EHR.
