Job summary

Qualifications

• :Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition (BSNT) is required.
• :Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN) certification is required.
• :CDR Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist is required.
• :Florida licensure (LD/N) or eligible with plan to obtain within 6 months.
• :Master’s degree preferred.
• :Direct patient care and nutrition planning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nutritional assessment and intervention for acute care hospitalized patients.
• Recommend appropriate medical nutrition therapy based on diagnosis and assessments.
• Place orders in the medical record and communicate plan of care to involved parties.
• Educate patients, families, and significant others on nutrition plan.
• Contribute to department outcomes through process improvement and documentation in EHR.
