Job summary

Hutchinson Regional Medical Center in Hutchinson, KS is seeking a Dietitian for full-time day shifts to provide medical nutrition therapy and nutrition education to patients and families as part of the interdisciplinary care team.

You will assess nutritional needs, educate patients and staff, and participate in menu planning while upholding HIPAA and hospital policies. The role serves pediatrics through geriatrics in acute care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Registration eligible or current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration; licensed in Kansas, registry must be obtained within one year.

Responsibilities

• Completes nutrition assessments using the nutrition care process.
• Electronic medical records charting.
• Provide medical nutrition therapy.
• Assists with menu planning and other projects as needed.
• Serves a population pediatric through geriatric.
• Act in accordance with the established mission, vision, and values.
• Abide by PHI privacy and security regulations.
