Encompass Health Mechanicsburg is seeking a dedicated Dietitian to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team. The role involves assessing patient nutritional needs, developing personalized meal plans, and implementing dietary care plans to support recovery and rehabilitation.

The ideal candidate will facilitate nutritional education for patients, families, and staff, and will contribute to treatment goals within our healthcare facility.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential is required.
• Certification in Nutrition Support Clinician or Diabetes Educator is considered advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized meal plans based on clinical need.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to integrate dietary plans with overall healthcare.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on nutritional best practices and dietary modifications.
• Keep accurate records of patient progress and dietary interventions.
• Participate in case studies and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Expertise in clinical nutrition management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in nutritional analysis software and medical charting.
