Qualifications

• Licensed Dietitian (LD) as required by state laws.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions, and current health plans to develop and implement personalized dietary-care plans and provide nutritional counseling.
• Consult with physicians and health care personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions of patients.
• Monitor patient progress, reassess nutritional plans, and make appropriate adjustments as necessary.
• Lead educational workshops and support groups for patients and families to enhance their understanding and practical skills in managing dietary health.
• Stay current with the latest nutrition research to improve care and patient outcomes.
• In-depth knowledge of clinical nutrition in a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Ability to assess patient nutritional needs, develop personalized plans, and monitor outcomes.
