Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide inpatient Medical Nutrition Therapy and participate in a collaborative healthcare team. The role involves documenting care using the Nutrition Care Process in the EMR and delivering evidence-based nutrition services to patients.

Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or related field, be a registered dietitian or registry-eligible with licensure expected within six months, and have strong commitment to continuing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field required.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist or registry-eligible and licensed in state; licensure within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient Medical Nutrition Therapy as part of a team.
• Utilize Nutrition Care Process and document patient interactions in EMR.
• Deliver evidence-based nutrition care and collaborate with care teams.

Education

Baccalaureate Degree in Dietetics or Dietetics related field

Graduate of an Accredited Dietetic Internship or Coordinated Program

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist recognized by CDR or registry‑eligible, licensed in IL

Licensure must be obtained within six months of hire date

Master’s Degree in Dietetics or Dietetics related field (preferred)

One year experience as a Registered Dietitian (preferred)

The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for compassionately providing inpatient Medical Nutrition Therapy. This position functions as part of a team to ensure the delivery of evidence‑based nutrition care. He/She provides nutrition care utilizing the Nutrition Care Process and documents patient interactions in the electronic medical record.

Education and/or Other Requirements

• Baccalaureate Degree in Dietetics or Dietetics related field
• Graduate of an Accredited Dietetic Internship or Coordinate Program recognized through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist recognized through the Commission on Dietetic Registration, or registry‑eligible, and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist through Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
• Licensure must be obtained within six (6) months of hire date if registry‑eligible status
• Preferred: Master’s Degree in Dietetics or Dietetics related field
• Preferred: One year experience as a Registered Dietitian
• Must maintain Professional Development Portfolio and Continuing Education to maintain registration and licensure

Pay Transparency

$25.72 - $39.86

Additional compensation in the form(s) of participation in our annual incentive program are dependent on role. Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.
