Job summary

Legacy Healthcare in Scranton, PA is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to join a friendly, caring team. You will provide nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy to residents, evaluate and document nutritional status, and write dietary orders to support medical goals.

Qualifications

• State license as Clinical Dietitian (PA) or active licensure.
• One year of experience as a Registered Dietitian preferred.

As a Clinical Dietitian you will assist our residents in reaching their nutritional and medical goals. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expectby providing nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy, evaluating, monitoring, and documenting the nutritional status and needs of our residents, identifying and providing nutritional counselling to meet the cultural needs of our residents and writing dietary orders. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences or similar filed and a valid, unencumbered State of PA Clinical Dietitian License. One (1) year of experience as a Registered Dietitian is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
