Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Dietitian - Food and Nutrition, you will plan, organize, and evaluate nutritional care for patients of all ages, maintaining high standards and coordinating with caregivers.

Responsibilities
  • Perform nutritional assessments, evaluations, and meal planning.
  • Maintain care plans, review medical records, and attend care plan meetings.
  • Interpret diet prescriptions, calculate nutrients, and prepare meal plans.
  • Participate in department operations, including meal service, quality improvement, and sanitation.
  • Develop counseling materials and provide patient and family counseling.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess and implement nutritional plans.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
  • State of Texas license or obtain within 4 months.
  • Registered or eligible with the American Dietetic Association / Commission on Dietetic Registration.
