Job summary

Compass Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Dietitian in Palm Springs, CA to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education in an acute care setting. You'll work collaboratively with a team, performing nutritional assessments and developing individualized care plans to enhance patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a registered dietitian or eligible for the CDR exam, preferred with healthcare experience. A competitive salary of $80,000-$110,000 is offered, along with a variety of benefits including education reimbursement and additional perks.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible.
• Healthcare experience is preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.
• Must obtain a license as a Dietitian in the state.

Responsibilities

• Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education in an acute care setting.
• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop care plans.
• Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies.
• Contribute to QAPI initiatives for patient care.
• Partner with food service management to achieve goals.
• Support staff and dietetic interns through education.

Job Summary

Make a real impact as a Clinical Dietitian! You’ll provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education in an acute care setting, working with a collaborative team to enhance patient outcomes through evidence‑based nutrition care.

What You’ll Do

• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
• Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long‑term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community.
• Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high‑quality, consistent care.
• Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence.
• Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
• Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training.

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible.
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable.
• Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training encouraged to apply.

Additional Compensation & Benefits
