Job summary

Whitehall of Deerfield in Deerfield, IL is seeking an experienced Clinical Dietitian to join our luxury post-acute care and nursing facility. You will provide nutrition services, medical nutrition therapy, and dietary orders to support residents' health and recovery.

Minimum requirement: master's degree in Food and Nutrition or related field and IL Clinical Dietitian License; 1 year of RD experience preferred. Competitive benefits and a focus on exceptional patient outcomes are offered.

• Valid, unencumbered State of IL Clinical Dietitian License.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in reaching nutritional and medical goals.
• Provide nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy, evaluate and monitor nutritional status.
• Document nutritional status and needs; provide dietary counseling to meet cultural needs.
• Write dietary orders; ensure high standard of care.

As a Clinical Dietitian you will assist our residents in reaching their nutritional and medical goals. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect by providing nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy, evaluating, monitoring, and documenting the nutritional status and needs of our residents, identifying and providing nutritional counselling to meet the cultural needs of our residents and writing dietary orders. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.
To be eligible for consideration applicants should have: As a minimum, a master's degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences or similar filed and a valid, unencumbered State of IL Clinical Dietitian License. One (1) year of experience as a Registered Dietitian is also preferable.
