Job summary

Whitehall of Deerfield seeks an experienced Clinical Dietitian to join our luxury post-acute care facility in Deerfield, IL. You will deliver nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy, evaluate and monitor residents’ nutritional status, and tailor dietary plans to cultural needs while ensuring high-quality care.

The position requires a master’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field and an IL Clinical Dietitian License; one year of RD experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences or similar field.
• Valid, unencumbered IL Clinical Dietitian License.
• One year of experience as a Registered Dietitian preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in reaching nutritional and medical goals.
• Provide nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy; evaluate, monitor and document nutritional status and needs.
• Provide nutritional counselling to meet residents' cultural needs and write dietary orders.

As a Clinical Dietitian you will assist our residents in reaching their nutritional and medical goals. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect by providing nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy, evaluating, monitoring, and documenting the nutritional status and needs of our residents, identifying and providing nutritional counselling to meet the cultural needs of our residents and writing dietary orders. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a master's degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences or similar filed and a valid, unencumbered State of IL Clinical Dietitian License. One (1) year of experience as a Registered Dietitian is also preferable.
