Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Clinical Dietitian in Skokie, IL to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy to residents in a 250-bed Kosher skilled nursing facility. This full-time role offers education and professional development opportunities within a large national employer.

You will perform nutritional assessments, develop care plans, and collaborate with the food service team to enhance resident outcomes, while pursuing specialty certifications and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice (as applicable).
• Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Nutrition Care: perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Education: provide nutrition guidance to residents, families, staff, and the community.
• Evidence-based practice: apply current research in line with the diet manual and facility policies.
• Quality & performance improvement: contribute to QAPI initiatives to advance resident care.
• Collaboration & service excellence: partner with food service management to achieve resident satisfaction.
• Mentorship & professional development: support growth of staff and dietetic interns where applicable.

Make a real impact as a Clinical Dietitian! You’ll provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education in senior living, working with a collaborative team to enhance resident outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.

What You’ll Do:

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
• Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to residents, families, staff, and the community
• Evidence-Based Practice: Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing resident care and clinical excellence
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with the food service management team to help achieve resident satisfaction and service goals
