Job summary

HORIBA is seeking a Reagent Sales Associate in the Bay Area, CA to promote and sell clinical diagnostic reagents to hospital labs, academic and research institutions, and distribution partners. You will develop relationships, identify opportunities, and provide technical training and support.

The role requires 2–5 years of sales experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and willingness to travel up to 75%. Compensation includes a $75K base with incentives surpassing $125K, plus a company car and a robust

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, healthcare, or business.
• 2–5 years of sales experience in medical/clinical labs or related fields.
• Ability to independently manage day-to-day sales activities in a territory.
• Knowledge of sales processes, negotiation techniques, and customer care principles.
• Strong ability to absorb technical information related to clinical diagnostics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for in-person, phone, video, and email interactions.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and hold a valid driver’s license and passport.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals by developing relationships and growing reagent sales within the territory.
• Be a subject matter expert and assess customer needs to offer relevant solutions.
• Independently manage customer relationships across market segments in the territory.
• Identify new business opportunities and support growth and retention.
• Manage opportunities through the sales process and maintain CRM documentation.
• Develop and communicate a reliable territory forecast to management.
