Job summary

Tandem Diabetes Care Inc. is seeking a field-based Clinical Diabetes Sales Specialist in the North Houston, Texas area. You will use clinical expertise to promote Tandem products to trainers, physicians, and healthcare staff, while educating patients and supporting post-sale training.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the territory team to meet sales goals, maintaining CRM records, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. Travel will be extensive (approximately 80%).

Qualifications

• RN/ RD/ RPh or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience.
• 2-years’ experience coordinating and conducting patient education on the technical use of diabetes technology.
• Ability to travel at least 80% in your assigned territory; must maintain a valid driver’s license and required auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Promote Tandem Diabetes products within assigned territory and achieve sales goals.
• Provide clinical and sales support, education to trainers, physicians and staff.
• Educate patients and support post-sale product training.
• Maintain CRM records and a disciplined territory call cycle.
• Ensure compliance with Privacy/HIPAA and regulatory requirements.
