Job summary

STI in Woburn, MA is seeking a Device Integration Engineer (Non-Clinical) to focus on integrating clinical devices with EHR systems. The role is mostly on-site with occasional travel to client locations.

You will lead cross-functional projects, coordinate with interfaces, EHR teams, and clinical engineering, write system specifications, and support production environments while ensuring quality documentation and timely updates. Local candidates are preferred for a long-term engagement.

Responsibilities

• Focus on integrating clinical devices with EHR systems.
• Lead collaboration between interfaces, EHR teams, Clinical engineering and Infrastructure, plus external vendors.
• Lead on integration projects, following IT System Lifecycle, with specs, meetings, upgrades, and volume testing.
• Develop functional business requirements that adhere to the standard IT project methodology.
• Resolve cross-functional issues escalated during development, testing, implementation and support.
• Support production environments, troubleshoot application issues, and document requests.
• Provide clinical device guidance to team members.
• Maintain/write documentation and procedures for managing integrated clinical devices with the EHR.
• Provide updates on status and progress of tasks and projects.
