Qualifications

• 10+ years of system integration experience in medical devices.
• Experience with electromechanical hardware/software interactions.
• Hands-on debugging of hardware, firmware and software.
• Experience developing test plans and troubleshooting multidisciplinary systems.
• Knowledge of system-level testing methodologies and defect management.
• Strong documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Define system level interface specifications and drive integration plan.
• Integrate subsystems into complete medical-device systems during development.
• Plan and execute system integration, verification and validation activities.
• Hands-on integration, bring-up, debugging of complex electromechanical systems.
• Investigate system-level issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Troubleshoot interoperability and interface defects across subsystems.
• Collaborate with Systems, Electrical, Software, Mechanical, QA and Manufacturing teams.
• Collaborate with V&V team in developing integration test plans and verification protocols.
• Independently drive defect investigation, resolution and corrective actions.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments and FMEA activities.
• Document test results, investigations and engineering recommendations.
• Support design-control documentation and system verification in regulated environments.
• Identify opportunities to improve integration processes and test automation.
