Job summary

Western Veterinary Partners seeks a Clinical Development Veterinarian to mentor veterinarians, lead clinical development, and support regional hospitals across the Dallas–Fort Worth area. The role blends hands-on small animal care with coaching, leadership, and program development.

Based in Dallas, this position requires travel up to 50% to mentor, coach, and develop teams, advance the WVP Launch Mentorship Program, and elevate patient outcomes across our network.

Qualifications

• DVM from an accredited veterinary school.
• Active veterinary license or ability to obtain in Texas and the region.
• Based in Dallas, TX or willing to relocate to serve hospitals in the region.
• Minimum five years in small animal general practice.
• Demonstrated mentoring, coaching, teaching, or developing veterinarians.
• Strong clinical proficiency in small animal medicine, surgery, and dentistry.
• Collaborative leadership style with commitment to learning and development.
• Willingness to travel regionally up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality small animal medical and surgical care.
• Maintain an active clinical caseload and evidence-based practice.
• Mentor and coach veterinarians, supporting professional growth.
