Job summary

Prisma Health Dentistry invites applications for a full-time, open-rank faculty position in the Department of Dentistry. The successful candidate will be a clinician-educator with expertise in general dentistry and will work with residents to enhance their educational experiences.

The General Practice Residency clinics provide comprehensive care for a diverse patient population and emphasize patient safety, quality improvement, and collaborative hospital-based care within interdisciplinary

Qualifications

DDS/DMD degree from a CODA-accredited U.S. dental school or foreign equivalent.
Completion of a CODA approved Residency Program.
Certified to administer IV Moderate Sedation.
Eligibility for a South Carolina dental license.
Applicants must have a clinical, scholarly, and/or academic record consistent with each appointment level in the SC School of Medicine.

Responsibilities

Open-rank position based on experience with potential for academic promotion.
Serve as a dental faculty member for the Department of Dentistry and General Practice Residency.
Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to enhance residents’ experiences.
