Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Dental Assistant program and DANB certification.
• 3500 hours of approved work experience with x-ray certification from an accredited program.
• Experience with four-handed dentistry and dental radiographic procedures.
• Proficiency in dental software and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dental unit and set up instruments, materials, and supplies.
• Maintain patient medical history and monitor vital signs.
• Explain procedures and provide dental hygiene instructions.
• Assist dentists and hygienists in various procedures.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain equipment.
• Enter charges and manage appointments in the system.
