Peterson Health in Kerrville, Texas, is hiring for a Full-Time Clinical Decision Unit RN. The position offers 12-hour day shifts (7am-7pm) with nights available, and a focus on comprehensive patient care in a CDU setting.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, coordinating with the team to meet patients' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs. Texas RN licensure and BLS are required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• BSN preferred
• Unrestricted Texas RN license and BLS required

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs on the unit and plan nursing care to meet physical, emotional, physiological, and psychosocial needs.
• Lead and coordinate care with subordinate staff to implement the plan of care.
• Evaluate patient responses to care and document verbally and in writing.
