Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• Non- Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) may be required based on area
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification, Oncology Nurse Certification (OCN, BMTCN, CPHON, CPON, CBCN, OCN) are listed as needed for some units
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are preferred

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive patient assessments and documents findings using standard tools.
• Develops and evaluates individualized care plans with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Administers medications and treatments safely, monitoring effectiveness and adverse reactions.
• Provides patient and family education tailored to care, treatment, and identified risks.
• Ensures timely and accurate documentation of all patient care activities and outcomes.

Education

Associate’s degree in nursing

Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) is preferred
